PE FOAM RECYCLING

PE FOAM RECYCLING

Most foam composites are not biodegradable and therefore it is important to ensure any scraps and excess foam is properly recycled. The recycling of foam and polyethylene foams aids our business in achieving Green Mission sustainability goals and  reducing waste management costs.

01

PE FOAM SCRAPS

Material yields are cut finely and as close to product specifications as possible. This ensures the first step of efficiency in foam use reducing the amount of foam excess and scrap reduced. After materials have been thermal-pressed or laminated for use, the excess scraps are collected and sorted for type and specification.

02

CRUSHED / SHRESDDING PE FOAM SCRAPS

Materials which are sorted into respective specifications are shredded into a finer texture allowing for next steps. Smaller particles from this process created a more efficient way of preparation for re-pelletizing.

03

RE-PELLETIZING

Pelletized products are much easier to handle and apply over raw material fines. Pellets are easier to feed, due to improved and more consistent flowability. Pellets are also much less dusty. These pellets which are derived from the excess scraps are then processed by a 3-in-1 foam pelletizing machine for other partners who can create useful items creating a truly circular opportunity for recycling and re-use.

PLYWOOD RECYCLING

PLYWOOD RECYCLING

Plywood that is used in factory production is a natural product and one of the most environmentally friendly components used for rigidity and stabilization of product specifications when called for. It is our goal to maintain the most favorable scenario for plywood scrap recycling possible as the material may be used in other valuable applications.

01

PLYWOOD SCRAPS

Plywood when used for some products are shaped and the excess scraps are collected and placed in the recycling bin. As a natural resource the scraps become a valuable way of ensuring organic matter is utilized to its best benefit.

02

PLYWOOD CRUSHING

Plywood is set into the crusher and material is gathered into a close compact texture which allows for a wider use for different applications.

03

WOOD FUEL ROD

Wood waste can be reused as a building material and recycled into mulch for landscaping or pulp for paper production or used profitably as a fuel. Wood fuel can be used for cooking and heating, and occasionally for fueling steam engines and steam turbines that generate electricity. Wood may be used indoors in a furnace, stove, or fireplace, or outdoors in furnace, campfire, or bonfire. The uses are endless and our commitment to recycling our wood use ranks as a top efficiency KPI for our waste management directives of the AGIT Global Green Mission.

THE GREEN MISSION

Agit believes in a clean, safe environment. Our major focus through our production and distribution management is to reduce our carbon footprint. After all, how can we enjoy the ocean and surf culture with high pollution? Every step in our production is aimed at minimizing our effect and waste with a carefully planned Recycling project that runs throughout our entire facility and company infrastructure.
